"Fly" is the only single from Nickelback's debut album ''Curb''.〔http://www.last.fm/music/Nickelback/_/Fly〕 A music video was shot for it, also a first for the band. The drums featured in the song were played by their original drummer, Brandon Kroeger. "Fly" was played on local radio stations, but wasn't very successful. The song did not chart.
== Background and meaning ==
It is about Chad Kroeger as a kid, asking where bad men go when they die, and his mother tells him that they grow wings and they fly to Heaven or Hell. He is still mystified, though, and he wants to try to "fly" using his father's gun to kill himself to see where he goes.
